Bo Design

Delia graduated from Pratt Institute in 1992 with honors and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design. Upon graduation, she worked as a senior designer for News Communications, a corporation that owned 14 newspapers in the NYC area during her tenure. In 1995, she went on to join Jobson Publishing, a healthcare publishing company, as an art director in the optical group. There she was in charge of producing and eventually redesigning a monthly magazine and developing the look for a new quarterly. In 1997, she left Jobson to pursue her freelance career and launched BD in 1998 from a small studio in Union Square. A year later, in collaboration with her sister Selena, Bonfilio designed the NYC2000 logo for the City of New York – used in all the millennium celebrations throughout the year. At the end of 2001 she moved the studio to larger space on Fifth Avenue as the business expanded to provide package and web design services. Since then, she has developed graphic designs for a wide range of clients. Delia is an animal lover and activist, and donates her services to Animal Haven, a no-kill shelter.
