NYC2000 | Logo Design

The Mayor’s Office of the City of New York entrusted us to create the NYC 2000 logo that represents the city’s big New Year’s Eve Millennium celebration in Times Square. This typographic treatment that emulates a cityscape with windows that turn into confetti falling was emblazoned all over the city – on taxi cab medallions, lamp-post banners, screens in Times Square and in promotions for events held throughout that year. We also designed promotional materials for the city’s July 4th celebrations as well as the mayor’s private party.
