Big East Celebrates 50 Years of Title IX | Logo Design

"Title IX was one of the most significant laws in the history of our country and has profoundly impacted the life journeys of countless women over the past 50 years, me included," said BIG EAST Commissioner Val Ackerman. Passed as part of the Education Amendments of 1972, this law prohibits sex-based discrimination in any school or other education program that receives funding from the federal government.

As a women owned business, we are incredibly honored to have designed this logo for the Big East Conference, celebrating 50 Years of Title IX.

The concept behind the logo was to subtly convey equality by giving equal weight to the main components: 50 YEARS and TITLE IX. The Big East logo at the bottom, supports the two components as they support women in sports.
