Sound Beginnings | Packaging Graphics

The folks at Sound Beginnings came to us with a playful, professional logo in place and in need of an eye-catching package design for their new product – a prenatal sound system. This convenient way for pregnant women to share music with their prenatal babies fits easily under clothing. A double-ply fabric band incorporates high-quality speakers that connect to any MP3 with the volume output limited to a level safe for the baby.

The concepts in our Phase 1: Design Exploration utilized a combination of graphics, typography and photography to communicate what the product does. The typographic treatment was chosen and further developed. We went on to hire a model and art direct the photo shoot to get the shots we needed for all panels of the package design and their marketing materials.
