WORK: LOGOS / IDENTITIES
Aquaculture Accountability Project | Corporate Identity Design
The Aquaculture Accountability Project (AAP) is a research-driven initiative examining the claims behind the so-called “Blue Revolution”—the idea that industrial fish farming is a sustainable solution for our oceans. Its work supports journalists, sustainability leaders, researchers, and advocates with clear, evidence-based information.
Because AAP operates in academic, policy, and media spaces, the logo needed to feel authoritative without being activist, and serious without feeling cold. The challenge was to signal credibility while avoiding the kind of visual noise that can quietly erode trust.
The resulting mark is calm, professional, and steady—letting clarity do the heavy lifting. Rather than competing for attention, the logo establishes confidence through restraint, balance, and simplicity, creating a first impression that communicates trust before anything needs to be explained.
The final logo functions as a quiet anchor across reports, presentations, and digital platforms—supporting AAP’s role as a credible source of information while staying out of the way of the message.
