DESIGN WITH PURPOSE
Bonfilio Design is a cruelty-free studio by choice, not trend.
I became vegan in 2013, and that decision reshaped how I think about impact—personally and professionally. Since then, I’ve chosen to work with organizations and brands whose values align with a more compassionate, ethical approach to the world.
This means I partner exclusively with companies and nonprofits that do not test on animals or exploit them in their products, services, or practices. It’s a clear line, and an intentional one.
Design is never neutral. Who you work with—and who you decline—shapes the kind of future your work supports.
By focusing on cruelty-free and mission-aligned clients, I’m able to bring my full attention and care to projects that advance animal welfare, environmental responsibility, and human well-being. Past collaborations include animal protection organizations, plant-based initiatives, food ethics groups, and advocacy campaigns working toward systemic change.
This video was created in support of National Animal Rights Day. The illustrations feature animals constructed from traditional graphic ornaments commonly found in classic book design—a deliberate reference to history and continuity.
By blending historic design language with contemporary advocacy, the piece acknowledges how far the animal rights movement has come, while underscoring how much work remains. The intention was to honor the past while visually reinforcing the urgency of progress.
