Big East 3x3 Battle

The BIG EAST 3x3 Battle was a landmark 3-on-3 basketball tournament organized by the BIG EAST Conference in 2015. It marked the first time a major college conference hosted an official FIBA 3x3 World Tour qualifier.

Held in Manhattan at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, with final showcases at Madison Square Garden, the event featured both elite and recreational divisions and opened competition to the public. The winning elite team earned opportunities to advance to the FIBA 3x3 World Tour and USA Basketball National Tournament.

I created the BIG EAST 3x3 Battle logo and event branding to give this new tournament a distinct identity while maintaining a strong connection to the established BIG EAST brand. The visual system was applied across advertising, social media, apparel, and promotional materials, helping establish a cohesive presence for the inaugural event.
