Big East Serves | Logo Design

BIG EAST Serves is a conference-wide initiative highlighting the BIG EAST Conference and its member schools’ commitment to leadership, community service, and wellness. The identity needed to connect naturally to the established BIG EAST brand while giving the service initiative a recognizable presence of its own.

I designed the BIG EAST Serves logo and supporting visual identity around an energetic human figure reaching upward toward a star. The symbol suggests participation, aspiration, and positive impact, while the typography maintains a clear visual relationship to the BIG EAST Conference.

The identity was applied across social media graphics, service-day promotions, apparel, and student-athlete recognition, including communications for the Michael Tranghese Postgraduate Leadership Award. These applications allowed the system to move easily between athletics and community-focused messaging while maintaining a consistent conference identity.

The result is a flexible event and initiative identity that connects the energy of collegiate athletics with the BIG EAST’s broader commitment to service, leadership, and community engagement.
