Carole Migden is a former California legislator and longtime public servant whose career spans decades of political leadership, advocacy, and work on equality and social justice. Her history is documented through an extensive collection of photographs, legislative accomplishments, honors, press coverage, and archival material.
I designed a custom Squarespace legacy website to bring that material together in one cohesive, accessible digital archive. With such a substantial body of content, the challenge was to create a structure that could organize decades of history without losing the personal stories and imagery that make it meaningful.
The site uses strong editorial hierarchy, intuitive navigation, and extensive historical photography to guide visitors through Carole’s biography, political and legislative legacy, honors and awards, media coverage, and public impact. The result is a polished, image-rich online archive that preserves an important career while making the story accessible to researchers, journalists, historians, and future generations.
