Channel Islands Surfboards | The Hoglet Logo Design

The Hoglet is a Channel Islands Surfboards model developed as a shorter version of the brand’s popular Waterhog surfboard. The name created an opportunity for a playful product identity that could give the board its own personality while still feeling connected to the larger Channel Islands lineup.

I created a custom logo and character illustration featuring a fierce-looking baby waterhog to represent the model. The exaggerated snout, sharp expression, and energetic line work give the character plenty of attitude while playing directly off the relationship between The Hoglet and its Waterhog predecessor.

The illustration was designed to work as a recognizable product graphic on the surfboard itself, giving The Hoglet a distinctive visual identity that feels playful, memorable, and at home within the Channel Islands Surfboards brand.
