WORK : PACKAGING
Godiva Chocolatier | Valentine’s Day Package Design
Godiva Chocolatier asked me to develop packaging graphics for its Valentine’s Day Collection, with the challenge of expressing love in a way that felt distinctive, elegant, and appropriate for a global luxury brand.
I created a bouquet of roses built from layered, heart shapes, turning a familiar Valentine’s symbol into a more unexpected floral graphic. Behind it, a typographic pattern of terms of endearment in multiple languages reinforces the theme of love while reflecting Godiva’s international audience.
Special print finishes helped elevate the packaging and give the design the tactile richness expected of the Godiva brand. Individual petals were embossed, the background typography was blind embossed, and each rose was outlined in Godiva’s signature gold foil. The result is a romantic, highly crafted seasonal packaging design that combines concept, illustration, typography, and premium print production in one cohesive visual statement.
