Sound Beginnings | Package Design

package design for maternity accessory

Sound Beginnings came to me with an established logo and a new product in need of packaging that could quickly explain what it was and how it worked. The prenatal sound system was designed to fit discreetly beneath clothing, allowing expectant parents to share music and sound with their babies before birth.

I explored a range of package design concepts (see below) using typography, graphics, and photography to make the product feel approachable, contemporary, and easy to understand at a glance. Because the photography played such an important role in communicating the product, I also hired a model and art directed the photo shoot to create the imagery needed for the package and supporting marketing materials.

The result was a cohesive packaging system that combined clear product communication with a warm, lifestyle-driven presentation—helping an unfamiliar product feel intuitive and accessible to its audience.
