The Parasympathetic Life | Squarespace Website Design
The Parasympathetic Life is the practice of Elizabeth DeLaBarre, a New York City-based practitioner and trainer of the Fajardo Method of Holistic Biomechanics™. Her work focuses on body awareness, movement, biotensegrity, and helping clients move toward a more regulated, parasympathetic state.
After developing the brand identity, I designed a custom Squarespace website that could make Elizabeth’s highly specialized approach feel understandable, personal, and inviting. The visual concept builds on the logo’s growing-flower imagery, using nature-inspired graphics and generous space to reinforce ideas of balance, resilience, and gradual transformation.
The site organizes Elizabeth’s story, professional background, methodology, testimonials, blog content, and ways to work with her within a clear, easy-to-navigate structure. It was also built so she could comfortably update and maintain the site herself—giving her a flexible digital home for an evolving wellness practice.
